The One Issue Churches are Not Addressing Enough

There is one topic that is vital to successful Christian living.

I follow social media and notice that one topic is not addressed much in today’s churches. Churches are usually doing a good job of preaching the gospel and teaching about Jesus. They run ALPHA classes that introduce Christian beliefs. They have small groups discussing the Bible. This situation is all well and good, but something is missing.

The missing element is churches (and Christian media, for that matter) is teaching us about how we can get along with each other. I see so many Christians struggling with family members, significant others, and the people in their lives. Sisters are not getting along, neighbors are at war, and relationships are teetering on the brink of destruction.

Here are some of the topics I would like to see churches address:

The Benefits of Forgiveness

So many people are walking around with bitterness and resentment that destroys their relationships. They need to recognize their unforgiveness and work on it. They need to be taught in church how to let go and forgive others. We cannot have a relationship with God without extending mercy and pardoning others.
